EA Sports Announces NHL 23 Player Ratings

Connor McDavid Continues Dominance

EA Sports has released the player ratings for NHL 23, and it's no surprise that Connor McDavid is once again at the top of the pack. This will be the sixth consecutive year that McDavid has been in this position amongst the ratings the 94 marks him at elite which is the highest possible rating in the game. The Oilers' captain has been a force in the NHL since he entered the league in 2015 and is widely considered to be the best player in the world.

McDavid is joined in the top five by Auston Matthews of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Nathan MacKinnon of the Colorado Avalanche, Leon Draisaitl of the Oilers, and Nikita Kucherov of the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Other Notable Ratings

There are a few other notable ratings to keep an eye on in NHL 23. Cale Makar of the Avalanche is the highest-rated defenseman in the game with a 92 overall rating. Andrei Vasilevskiy of the Lightning is the highest-rated goalie with a 92 overall rating.
